Bears To Now Open Season At Home On November 4

MACON – Residual effects from the devastation enacted in western North Carolina by Hurricane Helene has forced a venue change for the Mercer women's basketball team's regularly-scheduled contest against UNC Asheville on November 4. The Bears will now suit up to host that contest in Hawkins Arena, with tipoff still slated for 7 p.m.

Fans can still get an early look at the Orange & Black on Wednesday (October 30) when the Bears battle in-state NCAA Division II foe Young Harris in an exhibition contest at Hawkins Arena. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. and admission is free.

Season tickets for the 2024-25 season have already gone on sale, and fans can reserve their seat in the Southern Conference's most electric environments for as little as $45 by visiting MercerBears.com/Tickets. The 15-game home schedule includes matchups with seven Southern Conference rivals, as well as December contests with both Georgia Tech and Appalachian State.
