After South Alabama took its largest lead of the game at 23-12, Angel Montas Jr. drained a three-pointer to make it a 23-15 game with more than seven minutes to go in the first. The Bears picked up full court near the end of the first half and in doing so got a steal and an easy layup from Johnson and another steal and an and-one from Robinson to tie the game at 30. However, the Jags closed the half on a 12-2 run to take a 42-32 lead into halftime. |
