Mercer Men's Basketball Fan Information: Know Before You Go

In advance of the 2024-25 men's basketball home opener in Hawkins Arena Thursday night, the following notes below have been compiled to enhance the fan experience.

TICKET INFO
The season opener Thursday night is 478 Day. Fans can purchase tickets to the game for as little as $4.78 per ticket.

GATES OPEN
Gates open at 6 p.m. Thursday night for the 7 p.m. tip-off against VU-Lynchburg. Gates will open one hour before the announced scheduled start time for each game this season.

PARKING INFO
Fans with parking passes and media are permitted to park next to Hawkins Arena in preferred parking. General parking is $10 and available in the parking lot in the outfield of OrthoGeorgia Park.

IMPROVED FAN EXPERIENCE
Bears fans can look forward to new and improved in-game promotions, trivia, and games throughout the season. The Mercer pep band, cheer and dance teams will perform at every Bears home game this season.
New this season, Fall Line Brewing will be selling select canned alcoholic beverages on the concourse. Alcoholic beverages are only available to fans aged 21 and above. Each transaction requires a valid government-issued ID.

PREGAME GROUPS
Mercer athletics is excited to welcome Appling Middle School, Howard Middle School, Weaver Middle School, and Rutland Middle School to Thursday night's game. The respective schools will be welcomed on to the court pregame, as flag holders for the national anthem. The Cast of 6^th the Musical from Stratford Academy will sing the national anthem.
