MACON – The men's golf team will open up a busy week of competition for the Mercer athletics department that includes a jam-packed Saturday that will feature 10 teams in action, including a quintet of home events.

| The Mercer men's golf team will play the first two rounds of the Wexford Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C. The tournament, which is hosted by Florence, S.C.-based Francis Marion, is being played at the 6,884 Yard, par-72 Wexford Plantation Golf Course. |
| TUESDAY (2/20) |
| Two teams are in action on Tuesday. The men's golf team will wrap up competition at the Wexford Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C., while the baseball team will open the road portion of its 2024 schedule at Kennesaw State. | The softball team will look to continue its hot start to the 2024 season when it visits Georgia Southern on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the GS Softball Complex and admission is free. Â The men's basketball team will close out the home portion of its regular season schedule with two games in The Hawk this week, beginning with a Wednesday evening clash against The Citadel. | The beach volleyball team will open its 2024 season when it heads to Deland, Fla., for the Stetson Spring Fling. Opening-day action at the event has the Bears taking on Stetson at 8 a.m. and Florida Gulf Coast at 2 p.m. Admission to the Cooper Beach Volleyball Courts is free. Â The women's golf team will play host to the 3-day Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational beginning on Friday. All three days of the tournament will be played at the Great Waters Golf Club in Greensboro, Ga. Â The men's tennis team will take to the court for the first time in nearly two weeks when it battles Stetson at 2 p.m. at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center on campus. Admission to all 2024 Mercer tennis home matches is free. Â The baseball team will open up a an eight-game home stand when it welcomes Monmouth for a three-game series at OrthoGeorgia Park. Friday's series opener is set to get underway at 6 p.m. and fans can skip the ticket line by visiting MercerBears.com/Tickets. The softball team will play five games at home this weekend as part of the Mercer Bears Invitational at Sikes Field. The Bears are scheduled to battle Troy at 4 p.m. on Friday, followed by a 6:30 p.m. tilt with Morehead State at 6:30 p.m. Admission for the tournament is $10 for a 1-day pass, $15 for a 2-day pass and $20 for a weekend pass. Children ages 10 and under, as well as Mercer students, will be admitted to Sikes Field for free. |

| Fans of Mercer's athletic teams will get a full dose of Orange & Black on Saturday with 10 teams scheduled to compete, including five teams in action at home. Â Teams scheduled to compete away from Macon include the women's golf team which will play the second round of the MU-hosted Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational in Greensboro, Ga., as well as the beach volleyball squad who will continue play at the Stetson Spring Fling with an 8 a.m. contest against Eckerd and a 2 p.m. outing against Southern Miss. The men's tennis team will make the short trip to Atlanta to battle Georgia Tech in a 4 p.m. battle at the Byers Tennis Complex. Â The lacrosse teams will wrap up road action for the Bears on Saturday. The men's team will head to West Point, N.Y., for a high noon contest with Army, while the women will trek to western North Carolina for a 3:30 p.m. matchup at Davidson. Â The slew of action on campus will get underway at 10 a.m. when the women's tennis team locks horns with Florida Gulf Coast at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center, and admission is free. The home action will continue at noon when the baseball team plays the second of three games with visiting Monmouth at OrthoGeorgia Park. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time by visiting MercerBears.com/Tickets. Â Saturday will be headlined by a rare basketball doubleheader in Hawkins Arena as the women take on Wofford at 2 p.m. and the men tangle with UNC Greensboro at 4:30 p.m. Both games will be a part of Education Day in The Hawk, and fans can receive free admission by presenting the Education Day flier at any of the gates to the arena. Â Campus life will get underway at 12:30 p.m. when the softball team concludes play at the Mercer Bears Invitational against Bryant. Admission on the final day at Sikes Field will be $10, while children ages 10 and under, as well as Mercer students, will be admitted to the stadium for free. Â The women's tennis team will play its second home match in as many days when it goes head-to-head with Florida A&M at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center. Admission to all 2024 Mercer men's and women's home tennis matches is free. Â The baseball team will conclude its weekend set with visiting Monmouth at OrthoGeorgia Park.
