MACON – Marceaux Fouilhoux has battled all the way back from a 4-0 deficit in the third set to knot up his No. 2 singles matchup with Ashe Ray, but the conclusion of that match, as well as one other key contest, will have to wait as weather has suspended play at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center until Monday at 10 a.m.
The Bears (2-9, 0-0 SoCon) are down 3-2 on the team scoreboard heading into Monday's conclusion, but look to be in control of a possible match-tying result on court No. 1. Lucas Dini rebounded from an opening-set loss to Max Graham with a 6-3 win in the second set, and led the Wofford (6-6, 0-1) junior, 5-0, in the third set when the Middle Georgia skies opened up.
The Bears are playing without their everyday starter at No. 1 singles. Sophomore Nemanja Stefanovic withdrew from singles play after sustaining an injury in doubles action.
