Dalley Blasts Three Home Runs In Loss To Seton Hall

MACONÂ --Â Sophomore Ty Dalley put together a stellar performance at the plate Thursday, but it was not enough as the Mercer Bears (14-10, 1-2 SoCon) fell to the Seton Hall Pirates (15-11, 0-0 Big East) 11-10.
Senior Fred Wilson started and took the loss on the mound for Mercer.
Dalley went 3-for-5 at the plate, knocking out three solo home runs. Senior Alex Ramirez added to Dalley's awesome power-hitting performance by going 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI along with two walks. Junior Jackson Cherry went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pirates got out to a 5-1 lead in the second inning. While Mercer cut into the lead on multiple occasions, Seton Hall responded to extend the lead each time.
