
Dalley Homers Twice In Victory Over Seton Hall

MACON -- Sophomore Ty Dalley put together another outstanding showing at the plate Friday, hitting two home runs to help lead the Mercer Bears (15-10, 1-2 SoCon) past the Seton Hall Pirates (15-12, 0-0 Big East) 14-7.
Junior Colton Cosper started on the mound and picked up the win for Mercer. The left-hander went six innings, giving up three runs, all of them earned, on eight hits, allowing no walks and striking out three. Senior Wesley Franklin also made an impact on the mound for the Bears, throwing 1.1 shutout innings while allowing no hits, with no walks and one strikeout.
Dalley went 4-for-5 at the plate, supplementing his two home runs with seven RBIs. Junior Bradley Frye added to the power-hitting performance by going 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI along with one walk. Junior Parker Lester also chipped in for the Bears, going 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI.
