Beach Volleyball Concludes Season At Sun Belt Championship

MACON – Beach volleyball saw their season end at the Sun Belt Championship Friday, falling to Louisiana Monroe 4–1.
The lone victory came from the No. 3 pairing of Reese Hood and Lexi Polychrones, who once again defeated their opponents in straight sets, 21-19, 21-14.
After dropping the opening frame 10-21, Sydney Benson and Kate Hardie rallied to take the second set 21-15, but they were unable to overcome Kaylie Beck and Tamsie Black in the deciding third set.
The Bears fought valiantly on courts four and five, with both pairs taking their opening sets to extra points, but neither could take down the Warhawks.
Beach volleyball concludes their season with the highest win total in program history, earning a Sun Belt Pair of the Week nod, and posting an undefeated record at home.
