Beach Volleyball Concludes Season At Sun Belt Championship

MACON – Beach volleyball saw their season end at the Sun Belt Championship Friday, falling to Louisiana Monroe 4–1. Â

The lone victory came from the No. 3 pairing of Reese Hood and Lexi Polychrones, who once again defeated their opponents in straight sets, 21-19, 21-14. Â

Â
After dropping the opening frame 10-21, Sydney Benson and Kate Hardie rallied to take the second set 21-15, but they were unable to overcome Kaylie Beck and Tamsie Black in the deciding third set. Â
The Bears fought valiantly on courts four and five, with both pairs taking their opening sets to extra points, but neither could take down the Warhawks. Â

Beach volleyball concludes their season with the highest win total in program history, earning a Sun Belt Pair of the Week nod, and posting an undefeated record at home. Â
