Women Ranked For Fifth-Straight Week

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's cross country team remains in the USTFCCCA Regional Rankings for the fifth week in a row and fourth-straight ranking.
The Bears started off at no. 12 in the South Region for week one that was released on Sept. 15 for their eighth place finish out of 53 teams at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Ala. For week two released on Sept. 29, Mercer sat at no. 13 and stayed there for week three that was announced on October. 6 after their second place finish at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga. The Bears maintained their spot at 13th in the South Region for week four after their performance at the Arturo Barrios Invitational in College Station, Texas on Oct. 17.Â
Nikki Harris, Mary Grace Parker, Emma James, Chiara Belfico and Olivia Jones have all been key contributors to the success of the Bears so far this season.
