| Â Â ABOUT THE BEARS | |
| Mercer (4-3) has forced a Southern Conference-leading 19.0 turnovers per game, and still boasts the league's best turnover margin (+3.43) as well. The Bears will also tote the SoCon's second-best field goal percentage (39.0) and scoring offense (63.7 points/game) into Friday's outing at CSU. Three Bears – junior Micah O'Dell (11.7), as well as seniors Ariana Bennett (11.6) and Nahawa Diarra (11.3) – average 11.3 points per game or better. Diarra also shows team-highs in both rebounds (5.0) and steals (1.9) per game. | |

| Charleston Southern (1-5) has made its home on the perimeter this season, averaging 9.2 3-point field goals per game (22nd NCAA) on 29.5 attempts (13th NCAA). The Buccaneers have made 10 or more 3-pointers in four out of their six outings so far despite displaying just 31.1 percent perimeter success. Four players average 10.2 points per game or better for CSU, including junior Tyonna Bailey who puts up 11.3 points an outing. Sophomore Thelma Barbitch (10.8 points/game) and junior Caelan Ellis (10.7) have combined to record nearly 68 percent (37-of-55) of CSU's made 3-pointers in 2024-25. | |
