Bears Open Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge Monday

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – The Mercer men's golf team returns to the course this week, traveling to Pawley's Island, S.C. for the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge. The three-day, three-round tournament begins on Monday and features a 16-team field.

The last time out for the Bears came at the Linger Longer Invitational, where the Bears finished 15^th as a team. Cole Hanson and J.T. Herman enjoyed strong final rounds, shooting 64 and 68, respectively. Trey Mixon was the Bears' top finisher on the leaderboard, shooting one-over on the week.

Seven Bears will compete in the event, as Hanson, Herman and Mixon are joined by Henry Robards and Nathan Trodd in the Mercer lineup, while Connor Holcroft will compete as an individual.
