Scouting Charleston SouthernFriday marks the 14th all-time meeting between the Bears and Buccaneers. Charleston Southern brings a 17-13 record into the week, including a 5-7 mark in Big South play, and is coming off a sweep of Radford last weekend before taking a 6-4 loss to College of Charleston in the midweek.
The Bucs have hit well as a team, holding a batting average of .301 with six regular starters carrying batting averages north of .300. Kain Collins leads the team in hitting at .352, while Aidan McAskie has seven home runs to lead the way in the power department. On the other side of the ball, the Bucs hold a 6.94 ERA as a pitching staff.
