Bears Travel To Raleigh For Stitch Intercollegiate

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Mercer men's golf team is back in action this weekend, traveling to Raleigh, N.C. for the Stitch Intercollegiate. The two-day event is hosted by NC State and will feature 36 holes on Friday followed by 18 holes on Saturday. The tournament will tee off on Friday at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.

The last time out for the Bears came at the Stifel/Golfweek Spring Challenge, finishing sixth of 17 teams. Cole Hanson and Nathan Trodd were the Bears' top performers, shooting one-under across three rounds to finish in a tie for 24^th.

Trodd and Hanson are joined in Mercer's lineup for the weekend by J.T. Herman, Henry Robards and Trey Mixon.
