MACON – All 10 of Mercer's spring sports are set to compete this week, including four that will begin their postseason roads. The beach volleyball team will close out the home portion of its 2025 slate, while the men's lacrosse, baseball and softball teams will also be in action on campus.

MONDAY (4/14) |
The women's golf team will play the first of three rounds at the Southern Conference Championship. The 3-day event is being held at the Solina Golf Club in West Columbia, S.C. |
TUESDAY (4/15) |
The women's golf team will play the second of three rounds at the Southern Conference Championship, while the baseball and softball team will both head to Statesboro for in-state clashes against Georgia Southern. The first pitch for both games in Statesboro is scheduled for 6 p.m. |
WEDNESDAY (4/16) |
The women's golf team will wrap up play at the 54-hole Southern Conference Championship in West Columbia, S.C. The beach volleyball team will kick off home action this week with a midweek doubleheader against Wesleyan. First serves are scheduled for 10 a.m. at Bear Beach and admission is free. |
THURSDAY (4/17) |
The men's and women's tennis teams will open up play at the Southern Conference Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn. The second-seeded men's tennis team is scheduled for a 10 a.m. matchup against 7th-seeded Wofford, while the 5th-seeded women's squad will square off with fourth-seeded Western Carolina at 1 p.m. The baseball team will suit up to host a key Southern Conference series with East Tennessee State at OrthoGeorgia Park. Friday's series opener is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by visiting MercerBears.com/Tickets. |
FRIDAY (4/18) |
Victories on Thursday will move the men's and women's tennis teams into Friday's semifinal round at The Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn. Men's semifinal action is scheduled for a 10 a.m. start, while the women's semifinals will commence at 2 p.m. The track & field team is scheduled for road competition as well when the Bears split their squad and head both the Michael Johnson Invitational in Waco, Texas, as well as the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta. Both diamond sports will be in action at home. The softball team will open up their weekend Southern Conference series with Western Carolina with a 4 p.m. doubleheader at Sikes Field and admission is free. The baseball team will continue its weekend set against SoCon rival East Tennessee State with a 6 p.m. first pitch at OrthoGeorgia Park. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by visiting MercerBears.com/Tickets. |
SATURDAY (4/19) |
Should the tennis teams continue to survive and advance at the Southern Conference championships, the championship match for both genders is scheduled for 1 p.m. at The Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn. Two other teams are in action away from campus as well. The women's lacrosse team will head to Rock Hill, S.C., for a noon contest against Big South Conference foe Winthrop, while the track & field team will continue competition at both the Michael Johnson Invitational and the Georgia Tech Invitational. It will be a full day of action on campus. The men's lacrosse team will take on Atlantic Sun Conference foe Air Force in a noon contest at Five Star Stadium, while the softball team will close out its SoCon series against Western Carolina with a 1 p.m. tilt at Sikes Field. Admission to both venues is free. The baseball team will also be in action at home as it closes out its weekend series with a 1 p.m. matchup against East Tennessee State at OrthoGeorgia Park. The men's golf team will begin its postseason road when it makes the short hop to Greensboro, Ga., for the 3-day Southern Conference Championship. The tournament is being played at Reynolds Lake Oconee |
