Second Offensive Player of the Week recognition of season for Glus
MACON, Ga. - Mercer women's lacrosse attacker Caroline Glus was named Big South Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the week of April 7-13 as announced by the league office Tuesday morning.
Last week, Glus totaled 9 goals to go with four caused turnovers, and four ground balls across two games for Mercer. She matched her single-game career high with six goals against High Point in a 16-13 win that featured the last two unbeaten teams in conference play entering the game. She scored five straight goals for the Bears in the second quarter with four of them coming within a six minute span.
Against Presbyterian, Glus had a career high three caused turnovers to go with three goals. Glus is on a tear offensively as she has scored at least three goals in each of her last nine games.
Glus and the Bears will head to Rock Hill, South Carolina to play Winthrop on Saturday, April 19. First draw is at noon.
