Bears Complete Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – The Mercer men's golf team wrapped up play at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge on Wednesday, finishing the event in sixth as a team.

Cole Hanson and Nathan Trodd turned in solid rounds on Tuesday to tie for the top finish on the Mercer squad. Hanson shot two-under on the day, while Trodd shot even to finish one-under for the tournament. Trey Mixon, Connor Holcroft and J.T. Herman all finished one-over, while Henry Robards finished just behind at two-over.

St. John's surged on day three with a seven-under performance to take the team crown. Ryley Heath of Jacksonville State completed a wire-to-wire win as an individual, going 13-under on the week.
