Scouting Wofford
Friday marks the 43rd all-time meeting between the Bears and Terriers. Wofford brings a 25-21 record into the week, including a 3-9 mark in SoCon play. The Terriers are in the midst of a four-game losing streak, having most recently dropped a midweek contest at Winthrop on Wednesday.
James Layman leads the Terriers and ranks second in the SoCon in hitting at .377, while also leading team in OPS, hits, slugging and on base percentage. Wofford ranks fourth in the country in stolen bases, having swiped 137 bases on the season. As a staff, Wofford pitchers hold a 6.13 team ERA.
