Men's Basketball Earns NABC Team Academic Excellence Award; Five On Honors Court

MACON, Ga. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches honored TJ Grant, Alex Holt, Jah Nze, and Laurynas Vaistaras by naming them to the organization's honors court Thursday afternoon. In addition, the men's basketball program was presented with a Team Academic Excellence Award.

The team designation is awarded to schools that post a GPA of at least 3.0 during the 2024-25 academic year. The Bears finished with a 3.01 GPA during the academic year.

The NABC Honors Court recognition, goes to juniors, seniors and graduate students who record a 3.2 GPA for the academic year.
