Eikelbarner Named To TopDrawer Soccer Team Of The Week

MACON, Ga. - Mercer forward Morganne Eikelbarner was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week for the week of Sept. 1-7.
Every week, TopDrawerSoccer recognizes 11 of the best individual performances of the week from around the country and Eikelbarner earned the recognition for her outstanding week.
Eikelbarner started in both matches for Mercer last week as the Bears were victorious against Kennesaw State and Gardner-Webb. The native of Plano, Texas, logged the first goal of the match in the Bears' 3-2 triumph over Gardner-Webb. Three days later, the senior, who spent the previous three seasons at Oklahoma, recorded her first career hat trick as Mercer defeated Gardner-Webb, 5-0, on Senior Day.
Eikelbarner and the Bears are back in action on Thursday, Sept. 11 as Winthrop makes the trip to Macon. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
