SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Mercer duo of Tea Zivic and Sofi Tsitavets continued its dominant run this fall by flying through the Gold draw at the Wofford Invite. Andjela Raznatovic reigned supreme over the Gray singles draw and posted a perfect 3-0 record to top her flight.
Nearly a month after their run to the Round of 16 at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in Miami, Florida, Zivic and Tsitavets dominated the Gold Draw and earned their first trophy of the 2026-27 season. The pairing downed Liberty's Milana Tsulygina and Diana Ilie, 6-1, in the finals on Saturday morning.
Raznatovic, a junior transfer from UNI, only conceded one set in three matches to post a perfect 3-0 record and finish at the top of the Gray Flight. Raznatovic defeated Western Carolina's Laura Sparnina, the No. 2 ranked recruit out of Latvia, 1-6, 6-3, 10-4, on Friday evening. Raznatovic then downed UNC Asheville's Isabella Moss and Presbyterian's Odyssee Bellet Meriaux in two sets each over the next two days.
Jelena Gojkovic and Manon Rosa-Dubreuil advanced to the second round of their respective draws. Gojkovic defeated Presbyterian's Sofia Rodrigo 6-4, 7-6 (7-2), before falling to Furman's Lily Doherty in the semifinals of the White Draw. Rosa-Dubreuil conquered Presbyterian's Keira Stewart in two sets before Furman's Molly Robinson ended her run in the Prevail Draw in the second round.
Mercer begins its spring season on Wednesday, January 13, at Clemson.
