Decisive Plays:
Penn got on the board first with a three-run home run by Jack Warner in the top of the second inning and an RBI single gave the Quakers a 4-0 lead after three and a half innings of play. Penn's lead was short-lived as Mercer responded with six runs in the home half of the third. Logan Shepherd mashed his fifth home run of the season, a two-run shot to right field, Braydon Kersey ripped an RBI double off the wall and Kamaka cleared the bases with a two-run double of his own before Devyn McEachron brought him home with an RBI single. Both teams would trade a run apiece in the fourth with a pair of RBI singles by Nick Spaventa and Kamaka. The rest of the contest would be all Mercer as Kamaka ripped another RBI double in the sixth before Chris Katz blasted his fourth home run of the season into Five Star Stadium.
