Mercer To Host Houston Lake Invitational

MACON, Ga. -Â The Mercer women's golf team is prepared to host the Houston Lake Invitational, March 29-30 from Houston Lake Country Club in Peryy, Georgia.
Teams will play 36 holes on Sunday, followed by the final 18 holes on Monday. The first round is scheduled to start at 9Â a.m. on Sunday from a silent shotgun start.
This will be the Bears' fourth and final competitive tournament of the regular season, before the SoCon Championships in mid April. Mercer most recently played at the Florida State Match-Up last weekend down in Tallahassee, Florida. The Bears finished 10th out of 12 teams and Katie Scheck was the low finisher for the Bears as she finished tied for 16th at 5-over, par. Scheck was named the SoCon Golfer of the Week for her performance
The filed at the Houston Lake Invitational will feature five teams, including one other SoCon team in ETSU.
