Women's Golf Heads To South Carolina For SoCon Championship

Tournament is April 20-22 from Blythewood, South Carolina
MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's golf team is prepared to head to Blythwood, South Carolina for the SoCon Championship Monday, April 20 to Wednesday, April 22 from Columbia Country Club.
All nine SoCon teams will compete to capture the SoCon Championship and a berth to the NCAA Tournament. The first round will begin Monday (Tee Times TBA) followed by the second round on Tuesday and final round on Wednesday.
At Last year's SoCon Championship, Mercer finished in third place and Mikayla Dubnik finished as runner-up. This year, the Bears enter the tournament with the second best team stroke average (297.2) per round. Katie Scheck ranks second in the conference with an average round score of 72.2.
