Beach Bears Move On To Next Tests At UAB Blazer Beach Bash

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer beach volleyball team will continue on to its next checkpoint this weekend when it takes part in the UAB Blazer Beach Bash in Birmingham, Ala. at the UAB Beach Volleyball Courts.

The Bears will open up play on Friday with a Sun Belt Conference tilt against Louisiana Monroe at 8 a.m. before closing out the day against Houston Christian at 2 p.m. Mercer will go head-to-head with Tulane at 10 a.m. on Saturday and will close out their stay in Birmingham with a rematch against the host team UAB at 4 p.m.

Mercer is coming off of a win-less weekend in Atlanta after competing in the GSU Diggin' Duals. Duos of Maddie Lee and Hollis Engel and Kristi Talocka and Riley Milner picked up wins for the Bears over the weekend.
