PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – The Mercer women's golf team concluded second round play in 17th place in a field of 23 teams at 31-over, 599 after Monday's second round at the Golfweek Fall Challenge from Caledonia Golf and Fish Club in Pawley's Island, South Carolina.

On a day with tough wind conditions, as a team, the Bears shot a second round score of 21-over, 305. UNCW leads the field by four shots at 3-under, 565.

Ella Salama carded the lowest round of the day for the Bears with a 73 (+2). Salama's round consisted of three birdies with two of them coming on par 3's. Tylar Whiting is 2-over par and tied for 19th place in the field of 120 golfers.

The final round for Mercer will begin Tuesday morning with Bhoomi Jagtap the first Bear to tee off from hole No. 10 at 8:25 a.m. ET.
