Sekou Agard joined the Mercer Men's Soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach in the Summer of 2025. Agard was a 4-year starter for the Bears.
The former defender started in 70 of his 75 appearances from 2021-24, logging a total of 6,425 minutes in a Mercer uniform. Agard anchored a backline that held 30 opponents scoreless while scoring 9 goals and tallying 2 assists over his playing career.
In his senior year (2024), Agard led the Bears with five goals and 1,618 total minutes (played all but two minutes throughout the entire season).
