Before Mercer
A member of the Effingham County basketball team for four years and was coached by Curtis Stevens. She helped her team to region titles in 2012 and 2013, as well as an appearance in the 2014 Elite Eight and the 2013 Final Four. Lewis was a two-time player of the year and all-state team selection as well as a 2012 all-region first-team honoree. She scored over 1,000 career points at Effingham County. Lewis was also a two-year member of the FGB club team, where she played for Kenny Kallina and helped her team to win the Deep South Classic.
