Adrienne Jackson

Adrienne Jackson is in her first season at Mercer as a Graduate Assistant. She joins the Bears after spending last season as the Director of Basketball Operations at North Florida.
As a graduate assistant at Mercer, Jackson is responsible for equipment for the players, she oversees the team's practice players and coaches the scout team, assists with on court player development, prepares the team's scouts and film cutting, along with practice/game coding. Jackson also assists with graphics and is the Under Armour liason for the team. She oversees student managers and assists with any day-to-day basketball operations responsibilities.
When Jackson was with North Florida during the 2022-23 season as the Director of Basketball Operations, she was responsible for team travel, equipment, budget management, and social media. She also was the compliance calendar/liaison and oversaw the team's student managers and assisted with on court player development and film.
North Florida experienced a change in leadership after the 2022-23 season from March to June. During that time, Jackson was the Point of Contact Coach. Jackson's responsibilities during this time included but were not limited to: compliance liaison, creating an off-season plan, coach-led/individual player development, academic support and housing, and meals for all student-athletes.
Prior to starting her coaching career, Jackson played professionally overseas in the Ireland Super-League from 2021-2022 for the Liffey Celtics BC in Leixlip, Ireland. She led the Celtics with 17 points, nine rebounds, three assists per game, while shooting 40% from the field and 43% from three-point range. While playing in Ireland, she served a positive role model to players and parents as a head coach for the 13U/14U Girls Basketball team 2021-2022.
She also played in Portugal from 2020-21 for ACD Ferragudo in Ferragudo, Portugal. While there she led her team with 20 points, nine rebounds, five steals and three assists per game.
Jackson played four years of collegiate basketball at North Florida from 2016-2020. Some of her accomplishments as a player at North Florida included being named to the 2016-2017 ASUN All-Freshman Team and she was the first Osprey since 2013 to record, 900 career points and 500 rebounds (Career stats: 936 points and 650 rebounds).
She was a three-time team captain from 2017-2020. Jackson finished in the top 10 of the North Florida record book in points, three-pointers made, rebounds, and minutes played. She graduated from North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Entrepreneurship.
Born and raised in Leesburg, Florida, Jackson graduated from Leesburg High School in 2016. She started on her school's varsity basketball team all four years of high school. She was a 1,000 point scorer in three seasons and led her team to three District Championships and was a three-time All-Area Selection and member an FABC/Source Hoops All-State Team Honorable Mention. On January 24, 2023, the Leesburg native was recognized with a jersey retirement ceremony for serving as a leader in her community.
