Dr. William Bina is the team's general physician. Dr. Bina joined the school of medicine in 1991 and has served in various Family Medicine departmental roles including Program Director of the Family Practice Residency program.
Dr. Bina is now Chair, Department of Community Medicine and Director of the nationally accredited Master's of Public Health degree program. He served in the school as Executive Associate Dean prior to appointment as Chair.
Dr. Bina received his B.S. in Nuclear Science from the Naval Academy in Annapolis and his M.D. degree from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. He completed his Family Practice residency at Naval Regional Medical Center in Camp Pendleton, California.
Dr. Bina also completed a General Preventive Medicine Residency and an M.P.H. degree at Johns Hopkins University, School of Hygiene and Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland.
