
Mercer Falls to No. 52 ETSU

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Mercer University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 match to No. 52 ETSU on Sunday afternoon.
"We got rocked," said head coach Eric Hayes. "ETSU played well today. We've got to put this one behind us and prepare for Furman. It will be our last match and at home; and there's not much else to say."
ETSU took the doubles point with wins at flights two and three. The Bucs were able to clinch the match with the first three singles wins.
Arsav Mohanty won his first singles set at flight five, but was taken to three sets and ultimately fell, 3-6, 6-0, 1-0.
Next up, Mercer will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, April 16 when it hosts Furman at 1:00 p.m.
