QUOTABLES
"I was very proud of our team's effort today. It was a hot day against a very good Big 12 opponent, Oklahoma State. I'm pretty sure they'll be in the NCAA Tournament this year. We asked our team to come out with a lot of energy and effort and I thought we displayed that for 90 minutes. We defended very well. Unfortunately for us, they got a couple of breaks and got a couple easy goals and that's the difference in the match. Overall, I think we played them much better this year than we did last year. We're starting to gel and play at a high level." – Head Coach Tony Economopoulos.

RECORDS UPDATE
Mercer moves to 1-1-0 on the season and Oklahoma State becomes 1-0-1.

UP NEXT
Mercer will hit the road again and take on Kennesaw State on Friday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. in Kennesaw, Georgia.
