
Mercer Continues Home Swing Against Georgia Southern

MACON, Ga. – As winners of three straight matches dating back to Sept. 8, the Mercer men's soccer team (5-1) will host intrastate foe Georgia Southern (2-3-1) at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17 at Bear Field.

Needless to say, Mercer and Georgia Southern's programs have an extensive history on the pitch. Saturday's match will mark the 48th time they have faced one another, with the Bears holding a slim 24-23 advantage. The teams last faced one another in 2014 when Mercer claimed double overtime victory at Georgia Southern as Will Bagrou scored the game-winning goal.
