Women's Soccer Wraps Up Four-Match Road Trip at PC Sunday

MACON, Ga. – Mercer's women's soccer team wraps up a four-match road swing Sunday when the Bears play at Presbyterian at 2 p.m. at Martin Stadium in Clinton, South Carolina.

LAST TIME OUT
Mercer was unable to overcome a Charlotte goal in the 72nd minute that proved to be the game-winner against the Bears on Friday evening. Mercer fell by a final score of 2-1 to the 49ers.
SERIES HISTORY
Mercer owns an unblemished 6-0 all-time record against Presbyterian. The Bears claimed a 2-1 win in the last meeting in the series back in 2014.
SCOUTING PRESBYTERIAN
Presbyterian enters with a 1-1 record and Sunday's match caps a three-match home stretch that opens the season schedule for the Blue Hose. After a 5-0 win over Hampton on Aug. 28, PC dropped a 4-0 decision to Cal State Bakersfield on Friday.
Kristen Peagler leads PC with six points scored in two matches with two goals and two assists while Francis Whitesides is also credited with two goals. Cadye Picklesimer is the primary goalkeeper and has 11 saves on the season.
MERCER NOTES
Maddie Clark leads the Bears with three goals and seven points total this season while Emma Tokuyama and Abbey Reddig each have two goals to their credit. In all, Mercer has nine goals scored this season. The Bears entered the weekend ranking second in the SoCon in scoring. Clark's three goals leads the Southern Conference and ranks her 35th nationally.
Cristina Mursuli has spent the most time in goal – playing in all five games this year – and has 18 saves to her credit while Lea Cochran has made six saves in three games played this season.
