Allie Ware Named Assistant Director of the Mercer Athletic Foundation

MACON, Ga. – Allie Ware has been named the Assistant Director of the Mercer Athletic Foundation after serving as a graduate assistant supporting the same role. She began her duties at the start of the month.
Named to the position by Brian Gerrity, Senior Associate AD and Executive Director of the Mercer Athletic Foundation, Ware will assist in all aspects of the MAF and annual giving.
"I am thrilled to announce Allie accepting this position with the Athletic Foundation," Gerrity said. "She has been a tremendous asset over the past year and a half as a graduate assistant and I am excited to see her assume her full time position. Allie is one of the best and brightest young professionals I have met. She will do wonderful things here at Mercer."
As a graduate assistant, Ware helped in all aspects of the MAF while also formerly served as Director of Operations for Mercer's women's lacrosse program. In her new role, Ware will be able to focus her efforts solely on the Mercer Athletic Fund and on annual giving.
Ware received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Richmond, where she was a member of the Spiders' women's lacrosse team.
