Mercer Set for SoCon Road Match at Samford

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer volleyball team (7-11, 2-4 Southern Conference) will travel to Birmingham, Ala. to face Samford in its first match of the week Wednesday. The Bears will look to snap a two-match losing streak when they face Samford (8-12, 3-3) at 8 p.m. ET. at the Pete Hanna Center.

Mercer trails Samford, 26-7, in their all-time series. The Bears did not have luck against the Bulldogs last year, falling in two straight contests at Hawkins Arena and on the road.
