NOTABLES
» Mercer evens the all-time series at four, snapping a four-game skid against the Bulldogs.
» Lawrence notched just her ninth career double-double and first of the season.
» Thompson scored in double figures for the third consecutive game, this time recording 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting.
» Head Coach Susie Gardner inches closer to career win number 300, earning win number 298 today.

Â
COACH'S CORNER
"We played a very well-coached team that has been to the NCAA Tournament the last two years," said Gardner. "We had to battle the entire game and I was proud of how we fought back to take the lead and then maintain the lead. This was a tough win and we will continue to try and get better."
Â
On Kahlia's performance
"Kahlia is always going to score but we have been asking our players to rebound. It looks good to have Kahlia getting on the glass because we knew that Asheville is a really good offensive rebounding team."
