SoCon Men’s Golf Championship Resumption Delayed until Tuesday

PINEHURST, N.C. – Inclement weather in the area Monday morning, along with forecasts of rain and thunderstorms throughout the day, has delayed the final round of the 2017 Southern Conference Men's Golf Championship until Tuesday.
The 2017 SoCon Men's Golf Championship is being held at the par-72, 7,118-yard Pinehurst No. 9.
Conference officials had expected such a delay as teams played 36 holes (two rounds) Sunday in case weather forced a change in the schedule. The championship's final round will be played Tuesday with split tee times off of Hole Nos. 1 and 10 starting at 7:30 a.m. in twosomes.
The Bears enter the final round in eight place, two strokes back of Samford. Both teams will be paired with each other in the final round beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Hole No. 1.
