Mercer Inks Mary Courville to 2019 Signing Class

MACON, Ga. – Mercer head tennis coach Eric Hayes has announced the addition Mary Courville to the Mercer women's program.
Courville, a native of Columbus, Ga., was the No. 2 recruit in the state of Georgia and the No. 110 nationally ranked player. Courville is a four-star recruit and ranked No. 20 in Southern Section of the USA.
Courville has compiled a stellar 71-3 singles record thus far in high school and helped lead Columbus High School to their first ever Georgia 5A State Championship (2016).
Courville was named the Columbus High School Tennis Player of the Year for three straight seasons (2016-18) and was also named the 2018 Nissan Female Athlete of the Year for the State of Georgia.
The three-time team MVP and three-time Columbus Regional Tennis Association Junior Female Player of the Year was selected to represent Team Georgia in the 2017 & 2018 USTA Southern Cup.
"Mary Courville is a great sign for us," Head Coach Eric Hayes said. "She is exceptional on and off the court. Mary is coming here to excel in the classroom and compete for championships."
