Bears Aim for Three Straight with Match at Samford Friday

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Bears' men's tennis team will look to stretch to a three-match winning streak, traveling to Samford for a Southern Conference clash this Friday, March 23. Play is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Center.

Scouting the Bulldogs
Samford enters Friday's matchup holding an 8-7 overall record, with a 1-2 Southern Conference mark. The Bulldogs have excelled on home court this season, posting a 7-1 record at the Samford Tennis Center. Samford also enters the matchup on a winning streak of their own, having won the last three contests. Aleksandar Petrovic has been very impressive on the season with a 10-3 singles record and currently riding a six match winning streak. The Bulldogs are led by Rahim Esmail who is in his fifth season at the helm.
