Bears defeat Jacksonville State, fall to Georgia State

ATLANTA, Ga. – Mercer (6-7) picked up a 5-0 win against Jacksonville State on the second day of the Georgia State Diggin' Duals but fell 5-0 to host Georgia State to end the tournament 1-3.

Each Mercer pairing held the Gamecocks to only two sets, downing them 5-0 for the match.

Mercer will host Florida Gulf Coast and Stetson to begin ASUN conference play, March 30-31. The Bears will face Stetson on Friday and Saturday at noon before facing Florida Gulf Coast at 2 p.m. both days.
