Two Bears compete in three events in Atlanta

ATLANTA – Mercer's Alex Williams and Madison Mueller competed in three total events over two days at the Georgia Tech Invitational at George C. Griffin Track this weekend.

Williams ran the 100-meter dash and performed in the triple jump, the latter of which she set a new personal record in with an 11.90-meter finish. The senior finished sixth in the event. She also ran the 100-meter dash in 12.35 seconds on Friday.

Meanwhile, Mueller ran the 400-meter hurdles in 1:05.22, falling just under two seconds short of her school record (1:03.52).
