QUOTABLES
"I was proud of our girls today. Credit to Mississippi Valley St. They made it tough for us in the first period. We were fortunate enough to get one goal in the first half, but it was difficult for us to break them down. We had several opportunities but couldn't finish there in the first. In the second half we challenged the girls to be a bit more creative and create better chances. In about a ten minute span we were able to get four more goals. So I was happy with that. I was happy with our composure. Overall it was a productive weekend, going 2-0." -Head Coach Tony Economopoulos
UP NEXT
The Bears will hit the road for a three-match road swing, beginning at Georgia State next Friday, Aug. 24. The match is slated for 7 p.m.
