Bears Begin Road Swing at Georgia State Friday Night

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's soccer squad will take an early winning streak on the road, as the Bears travel to face Georgia State this Friday, Aug. 24. The match will be held at the GSU Soccer Complex with a 7 p.m. start time.

Georgia State enters Friday's matchup coming off a pair of 1-0 losses to Tennessee Tech and Kennesaw State last weekend. The Panthers found themselves victims to a late game winner in both decisions. Maddie Card and Lydia Fraga split time in between the posts last weekend for Georgia State, with Fraga racking up four saves. Jocelyn Jones leads the Panthers in shots (3) and shots on goal (2).
