Coach Kayden's Take
"Solid play by Martin (Plukka), sitting in the top three on the tournament right now and only a couple off the lead. We've had a great team effort from our guys and we're winning the golf tournament by two shots with one round to go. I'm proud of their efforts; they fought through some difficult situations on the golf course and were able to take the lead on the final few holes.
We have to come out strong mentally tomorrow. The pins are going to be in tough places and the tees are going to move back, so we have to play smart golf, make a lot of pars and take advantage of some birdies when we can. We're looking forward to the challenge of being in the final group with the lead."
Tuesday's final round will begin for Mercer at 8:45 a.m. on the first hole, along with second-place Kennesaw State and third-place Troy. Galdin, Werblo, Copp, Ball and Plukka get things going at 8:45, 8:54, 9:03, 9:12 and 9:21, respectively.
