
Mercer Sweeps Chattanooga in SoCon Match

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Bears volleyball squad swept Chattanooga in straight sets Wednesday night in Hawkins Arena.

The Bears beat the Mocs 3-0 in straight sets, going 25-22, 29-27, 25-20.

MERCER VS SAMFORD
Set One (25-22) | The first set was a back and forth battle between the Bears and Mocs. Annie Karle started Mercer's 4-1 run to end the set. Brittany major recorded 4 kills including the set winning set.

Set Two (29-27) | The Mocs came back strong in the second set. The Bears were one point away when the Mocs when on a 5-0 run to take the lead 25-24. The Bears would come back and take the set with a kill my Nya Steele.

Set Three (25-20) | Alexia Morey and Jaida Howell opened the set with back to back kills with an assists from Nya Steele. It would go on to be another close one but Mercer would go on 4-0 run to end the set and match with a service ace by Emilee Wissmach.
