Mercer Heads to Wake Forest Fall Classic

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's tennis team closes out its 2019 fall schedule this weekend when they travel to the Wake Forest Fall Classic. The Wake Forest Fall Classic that is being honest at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.

The state-of-the-art complex features 13 Deco-Turf II courts, the same court surface that is used at the US Open, affording the Demon Deacons the opportunity to play on some of the nicest courts in the Atlantic Coast Conference, if not the country. It was designed with the intention of hosting the NCAA Championships in mind, making Wake Forest one of only a handful of schools with a facility capable of doing so.

The draws for the Wake Forest Fall Classic has not been released at this time. Last season, Wake Forest welcomed over 150 players to the event and 20 different schools.

The action starts at the Wake Forest Fall Invite on Friday, Nov. 8, at 8:30 a.m., with doubles play, followed by singles.
