Mercer will play five straight home matches starting this weekend

MACON, Ga. – Mercer welcomes Campbell for its first of five straight home games on Sunday, March 3 at Five Star Stadium.

Sunday's match will start at noon (ET) as the Bears (0-3) play on their home turf for the first time since clinching the 2018 Southern Conference Championship. Live stats will be provided for the match.

SERIES HISTORY
Mercer is 0-3 all-time against Campbell, having last faced the Camels in 2017 when the Bears dropped a heartbreaking 12-11 loss in Buies Creek, N.C.

NOTABLES

Mercer ranks second in the SoCon in caused turnovers per game (9.67). The Bears are also second in ground balls per game, averaging 17.
Iseabal Cryne leads the conference in save percentage (0.402), saves (33) and saves per game (11.00).
Freshmen Hannah Lind and Hailey Rhatigan rank second in the SoCon in ground balls per game (3.0) and free position percentage (42.9), respectively.
Cryne notched a game-high 10 saves against Louisville after facing 40 shots.
Samantha Brown and Katie Martin saw action in their first game of the season against Louisville.
Michaela Lucas and Audrey Robertson were named to the Preseason All-SoCon Team.
The Bears were picked fourth in the SoCon preseason poll.

SCOUTING CAMPBELL
Campbell opened its 2019 season with three straight losses to Elon (15-5), Richmond (15-8) and Coastal Carolina (16-4). The Camels picked up their first win over SoCon foe Wofford, defeating the Terriers 21-6. Annie Pazulski leads the team with 13 points, 10 being straight assists. Melissa Placek tops the Camels with six goals of the season as well as 26 draw controls. Lexie Patton has been the Camels' go-to goalie this season, having earned a .442 save percentage after facing 94 shots and saving 34.
