Bears Close Out Regular Season at FGCU

Mercer travels to Florida to challenge FGCU in pair of ASUN matches
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer beach volleyball team (7-4, 2-4 ASUN) will travel to Jacksonville, Fla. to face Florida Gulf Coast in a pair of ASUN Conference matches on Friday, April 12.

The two matches will start at 3 and 5 p.m. and will close out the Bears' regular season schedule. Mercer is currently battling for an at-large bid to the ASUN Tournament, held in Deland, Fla. on April 18-20.

The Bears enter the weekend in third place in the ASUN Conference North Division standings, trailing No. 10 Stetson (21-8, 6-0) and North Florida (17-12, 4-2). Winners of the North and South Divisions get automatic bids to the tournament and are joined by four at-large participants.
