Head cheer coach Bobbie Proffitt will welcome cheerleaders to campus on Sunday, February 9.
MACON, Ga. – Mercer University head cheerleading coach Bobbie Proffitt will conduct a college prep clinic inside the University Center on Feb. 9.
The clinic is open to all high school and college aged students. During the clinic, cheerleaders will work on advanced level stunts and pyramids, as well as game day material.Â
The clinic will include an informal question-and-answer session about the life of a Mercer Bear along with a tour of campus. It is a great opportunity to get to know the team and coaches while preparing for the upcoming 2020-2021 season tryouts.
High school seniors should wear a black top (tank top or t-shirt), and it is requested that freshmen, sophomores and juniors wear a white top (tank top or t-shirt). The cheerleading squad will have gear on sale at a discounted price with money going towards the trip to NCA College Nationals in April.
All participants should bring payment and utilities usage form  on the day of the clinic. To register, click here.
