For the fifth straight contest, Djordje Dimitrijevic scored over 22 points. Dimitrijevic finished with a game-high 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting. Jeff Gary followed with a career-high 20 points. Ethan Stair recorded his eighth double-double of the season with a 17 points, 13 rebound performance. The Bears look to win its fourth straight Southern Conference action on Saturday. The last time the Bears won four or more straight SoCon games was during the 2017-18 season. On Friday, Jan. 17, 30 NCAA Men's Basketball student-athletes who excel both on and off the court were selected as candidates for the 2019-20 Senior CLASS Award and senior Ethan Stair was one of the selections. An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School ®, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities. The men's candidates will be narrowed to a field of 10 finalists in February, and those names will be placed on the official ballot. Ballots will be distributed through a nationwide voting system to media, coaches and fans, who will select one male candidate and one female candidate who best exemplifies excellence in the four C's of community, classroom, character and competition.
